For this week’s photo challenge I’ve decided to submit this random photo from my camera trial. What do you think would does she wish for?
For this week’s photo challenge, I’ve decided not only to upload a couple of photos, but also to try wordpress web-interface for making posts instead of my personal favorite Live Writer. As of now, it looks like I might be able to manage, but let’s see … Don’t be too strict, please … 🙂
So, back to the content itself, here are a couple of photos from our fishing trip last weekend. Obviously, no fish was harmed, as there is literally no chance to catch any in Finland, but at least it was fun to spend some time with our kids.
For this week’s Photo Challenge, I’ve decided to go to archives and post a photo that I took a year ago at our local amusement park during fireworks.
The quality is not the best possible, as original raw image was lost during the sickness on my laptop. 🙂 Always make backups … But that is another story … 🙂 Have a great day!
Finally, I’ve gotten my beloved 50mm 1.8 back. Here is the result of giving it a very quick spin at our yard taking portrait of my daughter. Really awesome lens and perhaps one of my favorites these days.
Quite possibly we will visit local amusement park next weekend and I would do some street photos there, though the weather forecast doesn’t seem to be really promising. 🙂 So, let’s see.
Camera setup: Canon EOS 1100D (yes, I still haven’t upgraded it yet!) + 50mm @ 1.8. ISO: 100, Exposure: 1/1580. Some color correction (contrast + brightness + blacks) was done in RawTherapee + size reduction for blog in FastStone.
This is not quite part 2, as part 1 had different name. I just had some free time this morning and managed to get some more pictures done. Pictures from museum are still under work, but they are getting closer and closer! 🙂 Anyhow, meanwhile enjoy this ones.
You don’t see those vehicles on the main street quite often, do you?
Deep under ground @ Linköping, stands the garage of hotel. Some nice graffiti there! I mean, garage is quite crapy, but if someone destroys your car, you can at least enjoy the art on the walls. 🙂
And if that was not enough, here goes another one.
Just a random bottle on the street took my attention. Somehow the whole city was full of bottles. Like there would be “empty glass exhibition” or smth.
Here is my very first trial on street photography, which I was never a big fan of, but since we were quite bored last Sunday in Linköping, we went out to take some pics. Also, this is my first trial of going completely “M-Mode” (usually use aperture priority), which turned out to be very cool. Of cause, the main thing is the visit to “Flygvapenmuseum” (Swedish Air Force Museum), but those photos are still under processing, so stay tuned! 🙂
As usually, any constructive feedback is warmly appreciated, so please let me know what you think.
For the lack of better Friday evening activity, decided to add another picture to this week’s photo challenge: Inside. A bit of historical junk has been trapped inside our times. So, as much as I hate this, it seems to be quite interesting part of heavy duty equipment from our predecessors that they’ve decided to leave on a random street of Finland perhaps because it didn’t qualify as a piece of valuable material. Enjoy before this crap rusts away. 🙂
