For this week’s photo challenge I’ve decided to submit this random photo from my camera trial. What do you think would does she wish for?
Finally it is time to restart my blogging hobby and finally I have some photos to share. So here we go, phoneography from abandoned soviet hotell …
As this might seem rather creepy to some people, entering it to this week’s photo challenge!
Restaurant Kitchen …
Manager rooms …
Other places around …
For this week’s photo challenge, I’ve decided to share a photo of my daughter. I think there is something fabulous in the way kids communicate with animals. We were walking down one of our local parks and saw a bunch of geese. Obviously, my kids decided that those poor things need immediate attention and dining. 🙂 So, I took some photos of those. The only thing is that it was quite windy, so hair is a bit messed up for a portrait. But that is not a big problem, if you ask me, since kids photography should never be scripted.
Did some post-processing on this one today and decided that it is a good candidate.
For this week’s photo challenge, I’ve decided not only to upload a couple of photos, but also to try wordpress web-interface for making posts instead of my personal favorite Live Writer. As of now, it looks like I might be able to manage, but let’s see … Don’t be too strict, please … 🙂
So, back to the content itself, here are a couple of photos from our fishing trip last weekend. Obviously, no fish was harmed, as there is literally no chance to catch any in Finland, but at least it was fun to spend some time with our kids.
For this week’s Photo Challenge, I’ve decided to go to archives and post a photo that I took a year ago at our local amusement park during fireworks.
The quality is not the best possible, as original raw image was lost during the sickness on my laptop. 🙂 Always make backups … But that is another story … 🙂 Have a great day!
Here is my very first trial on street photography, which I was never a big fan of, but since we were quite bored last Sunday in Linköping, we went out to take some pics. Also, this is my first trial of going completely “M-Mode” (usually use aperture priority), which turned out to be very cool. Of cause, the main thing is the visit to “Flygvapenmuseum” (Swedish Air Force Museum), but those photos are still under processing, so stay tuned! 🙂
As usually, any constructive feedback is warmly appreciated, so please let me know what you think.
Gang, finally it is the Day One of Blogging 201. With the latest challenges at work this one comes as a relief and something to turn my attention to some other direction. I haven’t even been thinking that a project like this could be a cure for stress, but it seems to be. Anyhow, time for my favorite cup of jeera tee and the first task, which is to set 3 concrete goals for next 2 weeks.
[Interruption … kids running into the kitchen, turning everything upside-down, doing there stuff … After 30 minutes of mess and clean-up, daddy has some free time again.]
There has been some discussion on whether it is a good idea to publish your goals or not. I believe that if you are really sure what you are doing, there is nothing bad about it.
Anyhow, back to the subject … I think my 3 main goals are:
1. Learn. As any other hobby, blogging involves a great deal of learning. I’ve been blogging for over a year now. Sometimes dropping blogs and starting new ones. Finally I’ve decided that this is something I would like to do. So, it is time to learn.
2. Traffic. To me, the first thing that comes to my mind when I think of blogging is “sharing”. I have enough to share, but I would like to have a bit bigger audience.
3. Experiment and have fun. I think this is one of the key points why I’ve decided to participate. I’m an engineer and I really like experimenting with all sorts of stuff. As for having fun, for last couple of month I’ve been working rally hard on my daily job and that was not much appreciated (for a lack of better term) by the employer, which lead to considerable level of stress. Now I need to have fun to handle this situation, before it gets deeper to my brain.
This is my part for today. I truly believe that participation in this kind of project is a very great idea and would motivate me to spend more time with my hobby.
As usually, any feedback is warmly welcome. Please let me know what you think.
And one more thing, if you have managed to survive down to this line without falling asleep, please write a few words in comments. Have a good day! 🙂
For the lack of better Friday evening activity, decided to add another picture to this week’s photo challenge: Inside. A bit of historical junk has been trapped inside our times. So, as much as I hate this, it seems to be quite interesting part of heavy duty equipment from our predecessors that they’ve decided to leave on a random street of Finland perhaps because it didn’t qualify as a piece of valuable material. Enjoy before this crap rusts away. 🙂
So, yet another take of mine on Weekly Photo Challenge: Inside. I took this photo when we were on our way to “Angry Birds Activity Park”. I believe it was a train that was used quite heavily back in the days and now inside is only trash … 😦
So, you like abandoned stuff, right? Well, here you go!
As I’ve mentioned in my previous post, it is quite hard to find anything abandoned in Finland, especially in Capital area, however, turns out that we do have some! 🙂 This late addition to Weekly Photo Challenge: Abandoned is a result of going through my collection of old photos from the times when I’ve just bought my first camera! No post processing, no nothing, just a resample for sake of saving some space on my WordPress account. Enjoy!
This one is not very abandoned (at least I hope that they didn’t go nuts and decided to forget about heavy pro machinery!). This one was used to demolish what you see on other photos.
So, whatever it was, this building doesn’t exist any more! Now we have a cool shopping center instead.
A couple of close-ups from different angles. 🙂
“No goods in front of the door. Thank You!”
Electrical supplies. For those engineering-minded colleagues of mine around the globe! 🙂
Yeah, right! 🙂 Someone left the shoes to pose! Gone with a style! 🙂
How the heck did that one get in there?!
Axel … Engineering again! 🙂
An of cause, some machinery! 🙂 Must be there, otherwise it is not fun! 🙂
So, that is it! As said, this are one of the first photos that I’ve taken with my very first camera, so please don’t be too strict! I hope you had a pleasant week and Enjoy your weekend! 🙂
As usually, any feedback is warmly welcome!
