This is not quite part 2, as part 1 had different name. I just had some free time this morning and managed to get some more pictures done. Pictures from museum are still under work, but they are getting closer and closer! 🙂 Anyhow, meanwhile enjoy this ones.
You don’t see those vehicles on the main street quite often, do you?
Deep under ground @ Linköping, stands the garage of hotel. Some nice graffiti there! I mean, garage is quite crapy, but if someone destroys your car, you can at least enjoy the art on the walls. 🙂
And if that was not enough, here goes another one.
Just a random bottle on the street took my attention. Somehow the whole city was full of bottles. Like there would be “empty glass exhibition” or smth.
Well, here it is. Some of the pictures I’ve taken with my phone (no post-processing at all) in Stockholm. As usually, the ones taken with DSLR still require post-processing and, quite unfortunately, for the most part, those are pictures of people and I didn’t manage to get release from them, so can’t really post. Sorry for that. But just to keep it shared, posting the stuff from the phone.
First is the most important one! During my stay in Stockholm, Finland was celebrating it’s independence day, so even in Sweden we’ve found the way to have a bit of celebration of that! Happy independence day, Lovely Country!
2 above pictures are from lovely “Kvarnen” restaurant, where we had our dinner. The restaurant is absolutely amazing and the quality of service is awesome! We were 40 people coming there at the same time and there was no delay with service! Warmly recommended!
Being a big fan of beer, I’ve gotten a recommendation from me mate to visit “Akkurat” pub in Stockholm. We were discussing this for a couple of years, but unfortunately during all my trips, I’ve never had time to go there. Now I finally managed to do so and I must say that even though the pub looks quite like “nothing extra”, the beer and snack selection there is fantastic! So, next time in Stockholm, make sure to visit it!
So, all in all, the trip was great! Lots of new thoughts and ideas! More pictures to come! So, stay tuned and remember that your opinion is very valuable, so please leave a comment!
Well, it has been really busy days here in Finland. Mostly related to the fact of being totally overloaded at work and lack of proper internet connection at my house. I was using 3G connection before and it was working like a charm, but for some reason, they’ve decided that there is no need to have 3G in the woods and it has somehow disappeared. Yet another reason was that since my car decided that it is time to go to service, I have to use public transport for a while, before I will get some chance to have a day-off and have it properly serviced (Timing belt story, in case you are wondering). The problem is that I have to waste about 1 hour in each direction every day and feel like a jellyfish when I come back home. I know those are not good enough reasons, but at least I’m honest. 🙂
Now, to something more interesting. The plans…
If everything goes well, I will be on a business trip in Stockholm during Wed-Fri this week. So, that calls for some evening/night photography, provided that I will come up with a plan of how to take my camera gear with me and not letting anyone steal it at the airport on the way back. 🙂 So, if you have some ideas on what to photograph in Stockholm, those are more than welcome at comment section or in PM!
Another thing is that I’ve almost managed to finish post-processing my “Amusement park closing day” photo set, so some of those pictures should be posted quite soon.
So, summarizing all of the above, I’m still alive and I’m back! More photos are coming soon! Please stay tuned!
This is my first take on “Weekly Photo Challenge: From Lines to Patterns”. This building is located at Helsinki city center and to me represents the maximum amount of lines and patterns that a construction piece might have. 🙂
As usually, constructive feedback is warmly welcome and much appreciated in the comment section!
I have some other ideas, but not sure about my schedules. Stay tuned!
Well, surprisingly enough, I seem to have some sort of creativity crisis now, so it is kinda hard to go and photograph something for the blog. I mean, there is a crap load of work at the moment, so perhaps I’m just too tired or smth. And the main point is that I don’t want to bother people with my old attempts to photograph something. 🙂 However, here is the one I really like:
It was taken in Norrköping flygplats (Norrköping airport) Sweden on the way back from a business trip. I didn’t have my camera gear with me at that moment, so I was simply taking a picture with my phone. No post processing, no editing in the phone, nothing. Just nice and clean picture as it is.
Obviously, I could have done it better, but I didn’t have any other purpose than to take a picture of an airplane for my son, who is always asking me to photograph airplanes that I’m flying with.
Honestly speaking, I love airplanes, I love business trips, I love traveling. But, unfortunately, I don’t have enough time for that. Being even more honest, this is quite fortunate in fact, because the lack of time comes from the fact that I absolutely can not survive long without my family.
Anyhow, enough talking …
camera: built in @ Sony Xperia S, lens: God knows what lens it has … ISO, Shutter, Aperture: not a slightest clue. 🙂
Have a great day and as always, constructive feedback is warmly welcome!
