Today, my son is changing his school after 2nd grade and thus here is the photo from the event.

I was also trying to take some pictures during the ceremony, but unfortunately, it was too hard to explain to a couple of excited parents that it might be not so good idea to put their heads in front of my lens on the random basis and kick tripod every now and again.

Anyhow, the summer is almost here and we are planning to go to Estonia for some time. Unfortunately, there is no internet connection @ our summer cottage, but I will be posting once in a while. Also, some more photos from Linköping trip will be posted quite soon. Stay tuned!

Love mechanical complexity? Well, we have some for you! Swedish mechanical classics that made the history. I will not write much today. Just enjoy these state of the art engines and let me know what you think. All photos are taken with my lovely Canon 1100D + kit lens @ M-Mode madness! 🙂 Postprocessing: RawTherapee + Gimp!

And I mean this is the classics. Not a single microcontroller. Not a single line of code! And everything worked as a charm! Think of today, when your car wouldn’t start because the temperature is below 0 …

Have you ever thought that your DSLR is too big to carry it around? Not to worry, Alex comes to psychological rescue as usually! Check this collection of spy / aviation cameras that were used in 50th by Swedish Air Forces!

And, for those of you, speaking Swedish (or if you simply hate my English), here is the photography with descriptions done by Air Force Museum, also featuring some photos of aircrafts that those lovely “micro” cameras were used on:

So, what do you think about your camera now? I really feel that my DSLR is nice, small and compact! 🙂

This is not quite part 2, as part 1 had different name. I just had some free time this morning and managed to get some more pictures done. Pictures from museum are still under work, but they are getting closer and closer! 🙂 Anyhow, meanwhile enjoy this ones.

Image00001

You don’t see those vehicles on the main street quite often, do you?

Image00002

Deep under ground @ Linköping, stands the garage of hotel. Some nice graffiti there! I mean, garage is quite crapy, but if someone destroys your car, you can at least enjoy the art on the walls. 🙂

Image00003

And if that was not enough, here goes another one.

Image00004

Just a random bottle on the street took my attention. Somehow the whole city was full of bottles. Like there would be “empty glass exhibition” or smth.

Here is my very first trial on street photography, which I was never a big fan of, but since we were quite bored last Sunday in Linköping, we went out to take some pics. Also, this is my first trial of going completely “M-Mode” (usually use aperture priority), which turned out to be very cool. Of cause, the main thing is the visit to “Flygvapenmuseum” (Swedish Air Force Museum), but those photos are still under processing, so stay tuned! 🙂
